Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville seeks an experienced Manager of Diagnostic Imaging to lead a 55-member imaging team, guiding daily operations and staff development through three direct-report supervisors. You will partner across disciplines to ensure safe, efficient patient care and support ongoing equipment and ED enhancements.

This role balances real-time operations with developing supervisors, maintaining a visible leadership presence, removing barriers to care, and aligning imaging services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare imaging.
• Licensure or certification in at least one clinical modality (e.g., X-ray, MRI, CT).

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team including technologists and interns, via three direct-report supervisors.
• Own daily operations, staffing, workflow, and patient-care priorities to safeguard safety and quality.
• Collaborate with leaders across Radiology and other departments to advance patient-care goals.
• Oversee imaging services during department renovations and equipment upgrades.
