Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking an Imaging Services leader to manage, hire, train, and evaluate a high-functioning team across imaging modalities. The role directs technical operations, supplies management, and QA initiatives while aligning with department goals.

The position will oversee the Imaging Center at the Goldman Healthcare Pavilion, scheduled to open in early 2027, driving scheduling, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and patient experience improvements across radiology divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasound Technology program required.
• Current New York Radiology Technologist license required; additional certification as needed.
• 5–7 years of technical experience and 2–5 years of leadership/management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to Imaging Services team and supervisors by guiding toward department objectives.
• Oversees budgeting, scheduling, and operational/financial data for radiology services.
• Ensures QA/QC programs and compliance with Joint Commission, state, local and federal requirements.
• Coordinates continuing education programs for technical staff and staff development.
• Interfaces with patients, staff and physicians to improve patient experience and Press Ganey scores.
• Represents department in administrative conferences and budget planning.
