Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, seeks an experienced Director of Imaging Services to provide strategic leadership for all diagnostic imaging operations on-site. You will lead staffing, budgeting, and technology management to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement while fostering staff development and collaboration with physicians and hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; related work may substitute.
• Experience in imaging services, radiology, or healthcare operations.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and imaging safety requirements.
• Proven leadership to develop and motivate teams.
• Financial and operational management including budgeting and staffing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with healthcare IT systems and imaging software.

Responsibilities

• Lead departmental goals and standards aligned with regs and best practices.
• Direct imaging operations, manage equipment maintenance and upgrades.
• Oversee staffing, hiring, training, performance evaluations and development.
• Prepare, monitor, and evaluate budgets; allocate resources.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and lead quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote clinical excellence and patient safety across imaging services.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive service access and efficiency.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and leadership.
