Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a senior Imaging Services Director to lead a large, multi-modality radiology department. The role focuses on system-wide imaging strategy, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and budget management, with substantial HR responsibilities and vendor coordination.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration or related field, 7+ years in radiology leadership, and strong financial and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 7 years of experience in a large, complex radiology department with multiple modalities to include Nuclear Medicine.
• Includes 3 years of management experience in managing staff, budgets and multiple modalities at the manager/director level.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and facilitates a system approach to imaging functions including PACS, cost reduction, and capital budget coordination.
• Manages an ongoing Quality Assurance Program to ensure high patient care quality.
• Ensures imaging services comply with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
• Monitors patient service fees and pricing in line with department guidelines.
• Manages equipment service programs and capital equipment planning/purchasing for imaging services.
• Oversees HR responsibilities including hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, and staff morale.
• Develops operating and capital budgets within approved objectives.
• Ensures ethical conduct and compliance with organizational policies.
