Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking an Imaging Services clerk/tech support to join a collaborative team dedicated to patient safety, quality care and exceptional service. In this role you will provide clerical and technical support for the imaging department, greet patients, verify prescriptions, schedule tests, and assist staff with workflow and patient transport.

No prior experience required; a High School diploma and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Requires basic clerical abilities and customer service skills.
• Able to assist with lift assists and patient transport under supervision.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff with lift assists and repositioning of patients when needed.
• Performs post-procedural duties including room clean up, and restocking supplies.
• Assists with inventory control and patient flow coordination.
• Communicates findings of Imaging exams to caregivers and schedules patients as needed.
