Minimum education is a high school diploma with current BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Licensure not required; physical demands include lifting 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

• Certification/Registration: Current BLS certification or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Other: This individual must be capable of lifting, moving, transporting patients; continual standing and walking; recognizing emergency situations; adapting to stressful situations; communicating effectively. Equipment Used: Proficient in basic use of computers.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care consistent with the established standard of practice and Mercy Code of Conduct.
• Manages supplies, stocking, equipment cleaning and patient care in Imaging Services as needed.
