Job summary

Mercyhealth in Wisconsin seeks a radiology aide to assist in imaging exams under supervision of a registered radiologic technologist. Responsibilities include patient transport, reception, PACS handling, and quality control, with emphasis on safety and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Six months experience as a radiography student
• Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of imaging procedures.
• Perform patient reception, PACS and transport duties.
• Corroborate patient history with the procedure and document for the technologist and radiologist.
• Assist in preparing and positioning patients for procedures to obtain results.
• Assist in selecting and operating imaging equipment to perform procedures.
