Job summary

nGenium, an established healthcare services organization in the Greater Chicago Area, is seeking an experienced Imaging Service Engineer to join its technical services team. The role focuses on service, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of diagnostic imaging equipment in a patient-care setting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with imaging systems, strong electrical/electronic/mechanical skills, and the ability to work with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of imaging or radiology service experience.
• Experience with multi-vendor imaging systems is preferred.
• Hospital or field service background beneficial.
• Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.
• Good communication with clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs or replacements.
• Calibrate and test imaging systems.
• Collaborate with clinical and technical teams.
• Maintain repair records and safety compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
