Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Medical Imaging Field Engineer II for Chicago, IL to service diagnostic imaging equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance at customer sites, with emphasis on training operators for optimal performance.

The role requires 3+ years in medical technology or field service, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with test tools. A valid license and clean driving record are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Proficiency in tools and service test equipment; able to work solo or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Service Imaging Equipment in the Chicago, IL area with role-based seniority.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance.
• Manage financial performance within territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue, expense control and inventory.
• Maintain company assets including vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and peers and perform administrative duties accurately.
