Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University in Portland is seeking a PAS Resource Specialist - Scheduling to deliver high-quality customer service and coordinate diagnostic imaging appointments within the Connected Care Center using EPIC and RIS. You will help patients, clinics, and insurers with enrollment, eligibility, and care arrangements.

The role requires familiarity with PAS policies, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical office setting with high-volume patient contact.
• Experience obtaining managed care authorizations may be required.
• Knowledge of PAS policies and procedures.
• Strong PAS system skills and integrated care knowledge at OHSU.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer service to patients, clinics, insurers and staff.
• Verify patient eligibility and managed care authorizations; schedule imaging in EPIC and RIS.
• Gather patient information and coordinate imaging appointments.
• Arrange care such as transportation and interpreters when needed.
• Triage and document patient and clinic communications.
• Serve as liaison for physicians and hospital departments.
