Responsibilities

• Creates multidisciplinary physician schedules and adjusts to daily changes.
• Oversees daily radiology procedural schedules for accuracy.
• Coordinates add-ons, changes and cancellations with radiologists.
• Disseminates schedules to hospital departments and imaging sites.
• Develops a systematic approach to identify coverage needs far in advance.
• Takes ownership and provides education to providers and staff on scheduling.
• Coordinates patient care needs including interpreter services and anesthesia.
• Maintains rapport with clinicians and other departments.
• Performs clerical duties like patient packets (H&P, labs, imaging).
• Works independently with minimal supervision and suggests policy improvements.
• Back-up for other positions as needed.
