Asante in Grants Pass, Oregon seeks an Imaging Scheduling Representative to schedule and pre-register patients for services, collect current demographic and insurance information, and secure necessary pre-authorizations. You’ll work with referrals, authorizations, and financial screening teams to ensure financial clearance before service.

The role handles patient check-ins, takes payments, distributes CT prep, and makes reminder calls.

Qualifications

• Healthcare scheduling or front desk experience required.
• Front desk and patient financial screening experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification is desirable.

Starting Wage:

$19.86-$27.30 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary

The Imaging Scheduling Representative schedules and pre-registers patients for services as requested. This position is responsible for obtaining current demographic, insurance and other information required by third-party payers and works collaboratively with referrals, authorizations and financial screening teams to ensure all necessary pre-authorizations have been secured, nonemergent procedures have been financially cleared, and patients are apprised of their financial obligations before the date of service. This position will also check patients in for their appointment, take payment when needed, hand out CT prep, and make reminder calls to patients when needed.

Position Qualifications

Experience

• Healthcare-related insurance, scheduling, front desk, or comparable experience is required.

Education

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as required for the position is required
• Associate Degree in business or healthcare related field- preferred

Certification/Licensure

• CHAA: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)- preferred
