Job summary

Asante seeks an Imaging Scheduling Representative to schedule and pre-register patients for CT services. You will gather accurate demographics and insurance details for third‑party payers and collaborate with referrals, authorizations, and financial screening to secure pre‑authorizations and financial clearance.

You will also check in patients, collect payments, distribute CT prep materials, and place reminder calls as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting demographics, insurance data and payments.

Starting Wage: $19.86-$27.30 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary

The Imaging Scheduling Representative schedules and pre-registers patients for services as requested. This position is responsible for obtaining current demographic, insurance and other information required by third-party payers and works collaboratively with referrals, authorizations, and financial screening teams to ensure all necessary pre-authorizations have been secured, nonemergent procedures have been financially cleared, and patients are apprised of their financial obligations before the date of service. This position will also check patients in for their appointment, take payment when needed, hand out CT prep, and make reminder calls to patients when needed.

Position Qualifications

• Healthcare-related insurance, scheduling, front desk, or comparable experience is required.

Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as required for the position is required
• Associate Degree in business or healthcare-related field- preferred

Certification/Licensure

• CHAA: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)- preferred
