Summit Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Imaging Scheduler in Fair Lawn, NJ. The role involves greeting patients, scheduling radiology exams (CT, Mammo, MRI, Dexa), and collecting co-pays with a focus on accurate insurance handling and HIPAA compliance.

Requires a high school diploma and 0–4 years of receptionist/scheduling experience. Proficiency with EHR and practice management systems is preferred. Monday–Friday schedule; competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical program preferred.
• 0–4 years experience preferred; 0–1 years experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Experience with standard office equipment and basic computer skills.
• Experience with EHR and practice management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and families in person and by phone in a courteous, timely manner.
• Schedules and reschedules radiology exams per protocol; informs patients of pre-exam prep.
• Collects patient co-pays and outstanding balances; verifies insurance information.
• Maintains patient reception area and documentation for film/CD dispensing.
• Communicates with provider offices, technologists, and leadership to resolve issues.
