Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support central scheduling across physician practices in Connecticut. You will coordinate procedures, manage and verify physician orders, and serve as a resource for the physician office staff to resolve scheduling issues without disruption.

The role requires a minimum of two years in patient scheduling, medical terminology knowledge, CPT/ICD-10 familiarity, and strong English communication along with basic computer skills for Meditech

Qualifications

• High School degree required; Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of patient scheduling experience with ability to coordinate procedures.
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology and CPT/ICD-10 codes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures and exams for multiple departments.
• Maintain electronic physician orders and ensure correct tests are booked.
• Assist physician office staff with scheduling and issue resolution.
• Provide strong customer service and help patients navigate scheduling.
