Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid license/registration as Radiologic Technologist per NYS DOH requirements.
• ARRT certification and BLS certification within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule radiographic examinations and ensure accurate patient identification.
• Position and expose patients for imaging while maintaining ALARA principles.
• Operate imaging equipment and verify orders with supervising physician.
• Assist with transfers, patient care, and maintaining department cleanliness.
• Train technologists and students; participate in quality assurance tasks.
• Maintain clinical information for proper billing and reporting.
