Job summary

Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the Radiology department. The role provides imaging services to patients, with weekend on-call as needed and a full-time schedule (80 hours per pay period).

Responsibilities include positioning patients, selecting exposure factors, adhering to ALARA principles, assisting physicians in procedures, and preparing contrast media and equipment as required.

Qualifications

• RT(T) certification required upon hire
• ROC certification required upon hire
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select exposure factors accurately.
• Apply ALARA safety standards to minimize exposure.
• Assist physician in imaging procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as allowed.
• Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
