Job summary

Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center in Owensboro, KY, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide imaging services in a Full Time (0.9 FTE) role within our Radiology department. Weekend requirements include shifts over Saturday/Sunday and a 7:00 am–7:30 pm schedule, with 72 hours per pay period.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, selecting exposure factors, adhering to ALARA principles, assisting physicians, preparing contrast media, and ensuring equipment readiness

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Science required upon hire.
• RT(T) registration in Radiation Therapy required upon hire.
• ANDROC Kentucky Radiation Operator Certification required upon hire.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select exposure factors accurately.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.
• Assist the physician in imaging procedures and prepare contrast media.
• Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
