Job summary

Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center in Kentucky is seeking a Radiology Technologist. Provides imaging services to patients, positions patients, and selects exposure factors.

Responsibilities include complying with ALARA, assisting physicians, and preparing contrast media when required. Requires RT(R) licensure/certification upon hire and BLS within 90 days. This PRN role supports weekend/shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate's degree or higher in Science or related field required upon hire.
• RT(R) radiology licensure/certification required upon hire or registry-eligible with ROC and BLS within 90 days.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Positions patients and selects exposure factors accurately.
• Applies ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.
• Assists the physician in imaging procedures.
• May prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within accepted scope.
• Sets up and provides equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
