Job summary

Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center is seeking a Radiography Support professional to provide imaging services under direct supervision. Responsibilities include patient prep, basic imaging, and safety practices in radiology.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, enrollment in a Radiography program, and timely acquisition of a KBMIRT temporary license within 30 days plus BLS within 90 days. Per diem/PRN, on-site position in radiology.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required upon hire; enrolled in Radiography program.
Temporary Student Radiography License required within 30 days.
BLS Healthcare Provider certification required within 90 days.
No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Verify patient identity and explain procedures; position patients for exams.
Assist technologists with routine diagnostic imaging; prepare rooms and equipment.
Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
Document patient information accurately.
May transport patients to imaging areas as needed.
Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
Assist with preparing and administering contrast media and/or medications within scope.
May assist physicians in imaging procedures.
