Job summary

Middlesex Health is seeking a Radiology Coordinator for the Urgent Care Middletown site. You will supervise daily imaging operations, ensure quality control, and mentor staff to uphold high patient care standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating equipment maintenance, coaching technicians, and acting as a liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics to keep practice up to date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three to five years experience as Registered Radiologic Technologist required.
• One to three years leadership experience including coaching and staff scheduling.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in two or more imaging modalities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise imaging operations and ensure quality control.
• Mentor staff and students and provide coaching.
• Coordinate machine maintenance and QA checks.
• Liaise between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics.
• Perform imaging procedures with professional judgment.
• Ensure patient care during imaging procedures.
