Job summary

Middlesex Health in Middletown, CT, seeks a Radiology Coordinator to supervise daily imaging operations within Urgent Care. You will coordinate workflow, ensure quality control, mentor staff and students, and support patient care during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities include coaching, QA/QC, machine maintenance coordination, acting as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care, and applying teamwork to deliver high-quality imaging services with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three to five years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT, RDMS, NMTCB etc) preferred.
• One to three years leadership experience including coaching and staff scheduling.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise imaging services daily operations and quality control.
• Mentor staff and students; coach and train as needed.
• Coordinate machine maintenance and perform QA checks.
• Address and record errors or incidents with technicians.
• Liaise between Radiology Department and Urgent Care clinics to maintain up-to-date practices.
• Perform imaging procedures with professionalism and teamwork; role model positive behavior.

Education

JRCERT accredited Radiography program

State of Connecticut License/Eligible

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred
