Middlesex Health is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to supervise daily imaging operations in our Urgent Care Middletown area. You will coordinate workflow, mentor staff, and ensure high quality patient care across imaging modalities.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and collaboration, with responsibilities spanning QC, QA, and cross-department communication to maintain up-to-date practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification or eligible in good standing.
• State licensure in Connecticut or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise imaging operations and quality control in urgent care imaging.
• Room patients as Medical Assistant; obtain vitals and review chief complaints.
• Mentor staff and students; provide coaching and training as needed.
• Perform QC checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Conduct QA checks for technicians and address any errors.
• Serve as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics.
• Perform imaging procedures with professionalism and teamwork.
