Job summary

Middlesex Health is seeking a Radiology Coordinator for the Urgent Care Middletown site. The role oversees daily imaging operations, quality control and patient care within the urgent care modality.

Ideal candidate has ARRT eligibility, a JRCERT-accredited radiography background, and strong leadership skills to mentor staff and manage schedules while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT certification or eligibility in good standing.
• State of Connecticut license or eligibility.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily imaging operations in Urgent Care Middletown.
• Assist as Medical Assistant to room patients, record vitals and interview patients.
• Mentor staff and provide coaching and training to technologists.
• Perform regular QC/QA checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Coordinate liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care clinics to ensure up-to-date practices.
• Demonstrate teamwork and professional conduct in all patient interactions.
