Job summary

RRD seeks a Supervisor, Manufacturing - Imaging (BCS) to lead the Wallace Ave Imaging, dock and mailroom teams on the 3rd shift (10pm-6am). The role focuses on safe, accurate, and timely production across shifts and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have multi-shift manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of ISO/SOPs, with a track record in process improvement and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing or related field preferred.
• 3+ years experience in multi-shift department management in a manufacturing environment; printing or fulfillment background preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Knowledge of Windows applications; Microsoft Office products; and database systems.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and leverage new systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees in the imaging, dock and mailroom departments.
• Directs activities across shifts and departments and with vendors for seamless operations.
• Maintains high employee efficiency and morale through leadership and sound management.
• Maintains knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO and SOPs, continuous improvement, equipment, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Plans and schedules workflow; ensures safety, quality, and KPIs are met.
• Collaborates with customer service, scheduling and other locations to ensure timely production and delivery of products.
• Manages budgets and reports on department expenditures and labor costs.
• Promotes training programs and a positive work environment.
