Job summary

RRD is seeking an experienced supervisor for the Imaging Department on 2nd or 3rd shift in the St. Charles area. The role supervises fulfillment staff across shifts, partners with vendors, and ensures accurate production and timely delivery of customer products.

You will drive process improvements, maintain ISO compliance, and manage budgets while fostering a positive work environment and strong team morale. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of multi‑shift management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management experience in a manufacturing or fulfillment setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly across shifts, departments, and with vendors.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, ISO/SOPs, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and KPI tracking.
• Willingness to learn new systems and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs fulfillment department staff to ensure accurate operations.
• Leads cross-shift coordination with other departments and vendors.
• Maintains knowledge of manufacturing processes, ISO, and SOPs.
• Plans workflows, schedules, and staffing to meet business needs.
• Sets and monitors safety, quality, and KPI targets.
• Administers policies, hires/promotes, and documents personnel actions.
• Controls department budgets and provides reports to management.
• Troubleshoots processes and coordinates resources to resolve issues.
• Promotes a positive work environment and adherence to procedures.
