Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Engineering in Waltham, MA to oversee manufacturing engineering and systems for development and high‑volume production. This role ensures rigorous processes, scalable capacity, and continuous improvement across the value chain.

The candidate will lead a team, drive a long‑term manufacturing strategy, and champion automation and digital tools to enable rapid scaling while maintaining top quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field.
• ≥12 years in manufacturing engineering/ops with ≥5 years in leadership.
• Experience owning value chains for complex electro‑mechanical or imaging hardware.
• Start-to-scale experience in high‑growth environments with tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Drive long‑term manufacturing strategy and automation adoption.
• Lead NPI to enable design‑to‑production transition with DfM/DfA.
• Scale production capabilities and optimize supply chain, testing, and fabrication.
• Improve yield, reduce cycle time, and standardize processes across the value chain.
• Manage budgets, headcount, and capital equipment for rapid scaling.
