Job summary

Retail Imaging Management Group is seeking a Field Technician to provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and repair for imaging equipment at customer locations. You will diagnose issues, complete documentation, coordinate with internal teams, and support service work orders and equipment installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in field service, equipment maintenance, technical support, or related troubleshooting role.
• Experience installing/repairing/maintaining technical equipment preferred.
• MS Office familiarity; experience with service management or ticketing systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to install, maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair imaging equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Submit call reports, test prints, images, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate service activity documentation and resolutions.
• Communicate updates and resolutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when needed.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process or technical improvements.
• Support continuous service quality and operational efficiency.
• Maintain service tools, equipment, and company assets.
• Keep knowledge up to date with manuals and training materials.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Provide escalated phone support to onsite technicians when not on location.
• Assist with installations and repairs on cruise ships, including potential sea travel.
