The role emphasizes advanced technical expertise, proactive cost reduction, and training to reduce contract dependency, with on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, or equivalent training.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience servicing technical equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in intermediate imaging equipment repair and maintenance (60%+ of time).
• Reduces contract dependency through training.
• Leads the CE department, overseeing and assisting FSS I.
• Manages service emergencies and vendor/department communication.
• Assists with ordering parts and supplies for imaging and biomedical equipment.
• Backfills CE Manager, provides service opportunity input, and analyzes service costs.
• Stays current on technology, medical advances, and regulatory standards.
• This position requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; availability outside regular hours.
