Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Field Service Specialist to provide repair and maintenance for diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment, advancing from FSS II duties. You will lead within Clinical Engineering, manage emergencies, and pursue cost-effective improvements while expanding service opportunities.

The role requires a strong technical background, leadership, and proactive problem-solving, with on-call duties including nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure patient care continuity.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Seven years’ experience servicing medical imaging equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance on high tech imaging equipment >75% of time.
• Lead and support FSS and CE management for cost-effective repairs.
• Handle service emergencies and communications with vendor and CE.
• Assist in parts ordering and provide coverage during manager absence.
