Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Field Service Specialist to repair and maintain diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment, expanding on FSS I duties. You will lead within Clinical Engineering and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure reliable operation of imaging systems.

This role requires an Associate degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years of service experience, and a valid driver's license. You must be available for on-call shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing technical equipment
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment (60%+ focus on intermediate imaging equipment)
• Lead within Clinical Engineering and assist FSS I
• Order parts and support service opportunities while analyzing costs
• Manage service emergencies and communications with stakeholders
• Backfill CE Manager and provide input on service costs and opportunities
• Stay current on medical technology, regulatory standards, and safety practices
