Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Field Service Specialist to repair and maintain diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment across radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and related areas. You will lead within Clinical Engineering, support imaging equipment repair, and manage service emergencies with stakeholders.

The role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership, and a proactive approach to cost reduction and training, ensuring precise healthcare technology operations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical training in Electrical/Biomedical/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing technical equipment.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in repair and maintenance of general imaging equipment.
• Manages all work order record keeping.
• Assists in cost-effective ordering of parts and supplies.
• Provides rotating on-call coverage and performs general biomedical duties.
• Offers input on new service opportunities.
• Stays current on technology, medical advances, and regulatory standards.

Education

Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, or Technical School graduate
