Excel Imaging Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and repair Samsung Diagnostic X‑Ray and Ultrasound systems in the Tampa area. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, training, and delivering high-quality service to healthcare facilities.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree and at least one year of field service experience on medical imaging equipment, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year hands-on experience servicing medical equipment.
• Experience with Digital Radiography (DR), Ultrasound, PACS, and DICOM networking is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues on Samsung Diagnostic X‑Ray and Ultrasound systems in clinical and hospital environments.
• Perform installations of new imaging equipment and verify system performance prior to customer acceptance and clinical use.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Perform corrective repairs and manage replacement parts efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate effectively with customers regarding system status and service activities.
• Attend and successfully complete required product training programs and certification courses to maintain advanced technical expertise.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive service and a commitment to service excellence.

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer in the Tampa, FL region to support our growing installed base of Samsung imaging systems. Position Summary

Requirements

Education

Experience

• Minimum of one year of hands‑on experience servicing medical equipment or comparable technical systems.
• Experience with Digital Radiography (DR), Ultrasound, PACS, and DICOM networking is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage service priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
