Philips Field Service Engineer role in Detroit, MI area. You will install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites while managing customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries; an associate degree in electronics is required; willingness to travel ~70% with 1–4 hour drives; on-call rotations and onsite work at healthcare facilities are common.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in diagnostic imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Experience with diagnostic x-ray, cardiovascular or cath labs preferred.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field.
• Able to work in office/home office, hospital settings, and remote environments.
• Willing to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships and service tasks; install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements; complete timesheets, PMs, FCOs and reports.
• Use tools and escalation processes; diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical issues.
• Travel about 70% within geography; average 1–4 hours daily with possible overnights.
