Intelas, a Compass Healthcare Company, is hiring a BMET-style technician to perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on imaging equipment across healthcare sites. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for cross-training and growth within a patient-focused team.

The candidate should have an Associate degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology or military training, extensive hands-on repair experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology required or equivalent military training.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to serve on-call as required and to be a technical resource.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance and calibrations on imaging equipment per standards.
• Replace defective components and readjust as per manufacturer specs; may require certification.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging cross-training of BMET Technicians.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to resolve equipment issues and provide emergency on-call support.
• Research and initiate repair parts within budget parameters.
• Document asset actions following department practices and generate QA reports.
