Job summary

Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician III to perform planned preventive maintenance, calibrations, and safety inspections on imaging equipment across healthcare sites. You will conduct major repairs, collaborate with manufacturers, and provide on-call support to ensure uptime and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong customer service, technical knowledge in radiology modalities, and the ability to act as a technical resource for others.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology or military training.
• Five years of experience with imaging equipment manufacturers or related experience.
• Five years’ experience repairing radiology equipment and biomedical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance, calibrations, and electrical safety inspections on imaging and related equipment per standards.
• Perform major repairs by replacing defective components and readjust components per manufacturer specs; certification may be required.
