Job summary

TriMedx is seeking an Imaging Engineer II to support sophisticated imaging systems across hospital environments. You will install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of radiographic, mammography, ultrasound, and related equipment while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.

The role emphasizes field service, collaboration with clinicians, and ongoing professional development in a dynamic healthcare technology setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military training.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of medical imaging equipment.
• Complex computer skills including error code interpretation, defragmenting drives, and replacing power supplies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and networking applications.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, maintenance, and operation verification on imaging equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate complex medical imaging devices.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for proper service delivery.
• Maintain Clinical Engineering expertise through ongoing training.
• Assist with service operations projects and mentor colleagues.
