Job summary

Amentum seeks a Duplicating Machine Operator to support ATF, handling document imaging and duplicating tasks. The role involves operating IBML or Kirtas scanners, ensuring accuracy in document preparation and imaging workflows, and maintaining equipment with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow policies and procedures.
• Experience in performing work requiring attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good sense of time management and the ability to work under time constraints.
• Willingness to work as a team player.
• Strong sense of customer service.
• Understanding of the importance of delivering high-quality work.
• Computer skills, including keyboard accuracy, familiarity with web browsers and basic MS Office applications.
• Experience identifying and submitting potential problems to management.

Responsibilities

• Assess and review the overall condition of documents to determine optimal scanner and filming methods.
• Ensure documents adhere to specific filming orders.
• Validate concurrence of both photographic frames and digital image.
• Visually inspect digital image quality and determine if enhancements are needed.
• Apply digital image enhancements to obtain best quality image.
• Determine when re-scans are warranted.
• Operate one or more copying/photographic/duplicating machines to reproduce documents.
• Perform clerical duties for printing and binding requests and manage supplies.
• Maintain inventory and perform preventative maintenance.
