Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking an Imaging Department Director to lead the administrative and technical direction across all imaging modalities. This full-time position coordinates clinical operations, budgeting, staffing, and compliance to deliver high-quality radiologic services in a demanding hospital setting.

The ideal candidate is ARRT certified with graduate radiologic sciences training and at least three years as a radiologic technologist, including two years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic sciences program and completion of one or more advanced modality programs.
• Three years experience as a radiologic technologist in an acute care setting; two years of supervisory experience.
• ARRT certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical direction of the Imaging Department.
• Coordinate the technical and administrative activities and personnel to include all modalities.
• Administers financial, physical and human resources to provide medical services in the radiologic sciences.
• Monitor department operations to ensure compliance with governmental, regulatory and accrediting organizations.
