Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous clerical/administrative experience in a medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and basic office software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients daily to confirm and provide instructions for scheduled exams.
• Schedule and/or reschedule patient appointments per protocols.
• Answer incoming department calls and provide test results per protocol.
• Provide reception services at the nuclear desk, verify demographics, insurance and collect copays.
• Verify insurance, calculate amount due and collect payment on exam day.
• File patient documents into charts and maintain confidentiality.
