Job summary

The Cardiac & Vascular Institute in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Imaging Coordinator to manage administrative functions for Non-Invasive Services. The role reports to Clinical Services Director and is non-exempt under the FLSA.

You will handle patient communications, scheduling, insurance verification, and coordination across departments to ensure timely, high-quality cardiovascular care for North Central Florida.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior clerical/administrative experience in a medical office preferred.
• Basic knowledge of EMR retrieval systems, computers and Internet.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients daily to confirm and provide instructions for scheduled exams.
• Schedule and/or re-schedule patient appointments per protocols.
• Answer incoming calls to the department.
• Provide normal test results to patients per protocols.
• Check in patients for exams; verify demographics and insurance; collect co-pays/deductibles as directed.
