Job summary

Prisma Health Laurens County Medical Campus is seeking a Radiology Administration support role to greet patients, assist radiologists, and manage patient flow within the imaging environment.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, scheduling exams, handling image storage and retrieval, and providing reports to providers or patients. Strong customer service, data entry and basic computer skills are essential for daily operations on the Day shift in Radiology Administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No previous experience required; support experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable in scheduling, admissions and radiology information functions.
• Customer service and data entry skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and coordinate entry in radiology.
• Prioritize patient orders by time or severity and inform patients about wait times.
• Accurately schedule imaging exams and verify orders.
• Ensure accuracy of check-in data and perform order entry as needed.
• Provide images and reports to providers or patients; manage image storage and retrieval.
• Handle outside images in PACS; assist with conferences and QA projects.
• Coordinate after-hours communication with physicians and staff.
• Coordinate team schedule/coverage and stay informed of updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
