Job summary

MedStar Radiology Network is seeking a Director of Center Operations for its Chevy Chase, MD outpatient imaging centers. The role requires leadership across centers in Chevy Chase, Rockville, and Olney and oversight of budgeting, billing, and regulatory compliance.

The position emphasizes collaboration with Medical Directors and Radiologists, management of staff, and development of operations strategies to improve service quality and efficiency. Evening/weekend marketing events may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in business practices, budgeting, accounting, and supervision.
• Knowledge of clinical/support service operations and policy development.
• Familiarity with imaging billing and payer contracts; medical regulations (ACR, Medicare).

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with Medical Directors, Radiologists, and leadership.
• Oversees sales and marketing efforts of the Imaging Center and supervises staff.
• Executes sales calls and achieves targets while adhering to standards and planning.
• Maintains CRM and reports on center activities.
• Drives performance improvement and budget adherence with center leadership.
• Represents the center in meetings with customers and partners.
