Job summary

MedStar Radiology Network is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager for our outpatient imaging center in Washington, DC. You will oversee operations, staffing, scheduling, and quality improvements to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Reporting to the Administrator/Director of Center Operations, you will collaborate with medical and administrative staff to maintain high standards and drive performance improvements while managing budgets and center resources.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years relevant experience with at least two years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Must have knowledge of modern business and supervisory techniques.
• Graduate of an accredited program in Nursing, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine or equivalent in experience.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or CRA preferred.
• Candidates with relevant licensure or certification will be required to maintain that licensure or certification.
• Ability to implement effective administrative policies and procedures.
• Good organizational and time management skills; attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to plan and direct the work of others.
• Ability to influence others to achieve organizational goals.
• Knowledge of computer applications including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving data.

Responsibilities

• Develops effective relationships with Medical Director and Radiology faculty and involves them in decisions as appropriate.
• Oversee/develop and implement programs and strategies for staffing, recruitment, orientation, and training.
• Coordinate regular training for staff and center leaders; competency and in-services.
• Provide regular performance feedback and conduct evaluations for direct reports.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, and ensure functional emergency equipment.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control within the center.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure procedures are followed and paperwork is completed on time.
• Ensure patient satisfaction goals and service quality through process improvements.
