Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our imaging center in Cypress, TX. This role handles patient flow, scheduling, registration, and insurance processes, acting as the face of the facility and ensuring patients understand financial responsibilities before imaging services are performed.

You will collect out-of-pocket expenses, coordinate appointments with radiology staff, and ensure accurate demographic input, consent forms, and prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in a high-volume medical environment, imaging center preferred.
• Experience calculating patient financial responsibility and collecting payments.
• Familiarity with imaging prior-authorization workflows.
• Proficiency with RIS and PACS/EHR software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer multi-line phones, maintain waiting area.
• Schedule imaging appointments based on machine availability.
• Register patients: demographics, orders, sign consent forms.
• Obtain pre-authorizations from commercial plans, Medicare, Medicaid.
• Explain benefits and collect out-of-pocket payments at service time.
