MyMichigan Health is seeking an Imaging Aide/Patient Service Specialist to support technical and nursing staff around imaging procedures. The role involves patient transport, assisting with procedures, room turnover, and ensuring proper documentation in the system.

Responsibilities include education for physician offices, scheduling support, and maintaining supplies. The position requires 1–2 years of clinical experience, strong communication, and compliance with TB/OSHA training.

Competenze

• One to two years of experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Excellent communication skills and time management are required.
• High school diploma or GED is required; college medical terminology course preferred.
• TB testing and OSHA training must be completed annually.

Mansioni

• Register patients: verify insurance, obtain pre-certifications and authorizations for billing.
• Coordinate scheduling to maintain smooth patient flow.
• Transport patients to imaging and assist during procedures.
• Prepare imaging rooms, clean and stock equipment, document in RIS.
• Assist nursing/technical staff during invasive procedures.
