Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a patient support specialist to augment clinical staff around imaging procedures. You will transport patients, assist with positioning, IV management, and help prepare procedure rooms. Responsibilities include stocking, cleaning, and supporting the team before and after procedures.

Requirements include 1–2 years in a clinical setting, a High School diploma or GED, and certification readiness (BLS/OSHA). Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Stage patients for imaging procedures and assist with gowning and documentation.
• Transport patients to imaging rooms and assist during procedures as needed.
• Post-procedure duties: discontinue IV, document in RIS, prepare room for next case, clean and restock.
• Assist nursing and technical staff during invasive procedures.
