Job summary

USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Los Angeles is seeking an Imaging Scheduler to support the Imaging Department by scheduling imaging and cardiology patients across all modalities, including IR and the Cardiac Cath Lab.

The role requires professional front office duties, excellent phone etiquette, confidentiality, strong computer skills, and ability to coordinate with providers, clinics and multiple departments to keep workflows efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC literacy.
• Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Minimum 2 years scheduling and general office experience in hospital setting; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule imaging and cardiology patients across all modalities, including IR and Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Coordinate with providers, clinics and multiple departments to optimize workflows.
• Perform clerical and front office duties and answer phones professionally.
