Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital seeks an Advanced Imaging Assistant to support the Imaging team under supervision, following established policies. The role involves assisting technologists, performing diverse duties, and upholding patient- and family-centered care.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, ~2 years of patient care experience, and BLS certification at hire. The position is part-time at the Dearborn site with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience; 2 years' patient care experience preferred.
• CRT-BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following imaging department policies and procedures.
• Performs a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department.
• Exhibits good interpersonal and communication skills and follows Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.

Scope of Work

Under direct supervision the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following the established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience 2 years' patient care experience. Preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
