Lumina Imaging is seeking an Appointment Coordinator to manage patient appointments for advanced imaging services. You will be the first contact for patients and coordinate scheduling to ensure a smooth workflow for the office.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on exceptional customer service and confidentiality in handling medical information.

Qualificações

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1 year scheduling, medical billing or terminology experience.
• Proficient with a PC and related software.
• Strong customer service, communication and teamwork.
• 3 years medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with managed care/insurance vendors preferred.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Serve as preliminary contact for Lumina Imaging.
• Gather and analyze payor data for optimal reimbursement.
• Ensure patient registration and imaging scheduling.
• Assist staff and handle confidential matters as needed.
• Support departmental workflow and activities as required.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
